I'm not saying he's anywhere near the best striker we've had but he certainly isn't the worst. Not even in the past 10 years.

(and I still want a lot more goals from him this season.)

I have to say that even though I'm not a Crouch fan, I absolutely despised watching Heskey play far more during his last two years.

My current feelings for Crouch pale in comparison.

I just think that Crouch is suitable in certain games, under certain circumstances, in certain places, against certain teams, when there is a certain score. He's the footballing equivalent of a fish-knife.

You'd rarely eat your dinner with it but it's nice to have one.

Crouch will now be known as The Fishknife.

          Thanks, g

Rafa wants two strikes of each kind.

IE:two big target men who are good at holding up the ball. (Kuyt and Crouch)

And two smaller players to pick up on their knockdowns etc. (Bellamy and Fowler)

            Point: Crouch wont be sold.

Pongolle is on his way out along with his french friend.

Yes and a fish-knife is "effective" at cutting up a fried egg but you'd only use it if there were no other clean knives in the house.

Ok I'll say it. Who is KK? I can only think Kevin Keegan or King Kenny. But I've not had much sleep

Had me stumped too Al. I think he meant Kromkamp.

Good to have you here by the way.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

                        Why thank you

Why the double KK. Is Jan spelled Kjan really?

Oh hang on I get it. KronKamp.

Why do people think he didn't cut it though. I thought he looked a fine player. Isn't he moving due to an inability to settle rather than for his footy stuff. After initial doubts I thought he was pretty impressive.

Have heard he is still homesick. I think he seems a decent player but he is not an improvement on Finnan, so I doubt he will get many games which can't help his confidence.

I think he is being used as a bargaining tool for Dutch strikers we are interested in. (Kuyt/Huntelaar)

I bet he's happy here, apart from wishing he could break into the 1st team.
