What you all conveniently forget is that another team missed out on Champions league qualification because of our rule change.

    Is that fair?

Totally agree. I am a firm believer in that.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Plenty of players have been sanctioned because the ref only gave a yellow card.

Plenty of players have played for 3 teams in a year, and as FIFA said it was only the Brazilian league season overlapping which caused the problem.

Plenty of teams have had special dispensation (rearranged games, Man U withdrawing from FA Cup, Chavski getting off lightly for tapping up etc.)

OVerall, the post is complete bollocks, and just a bitter rant (as proven by the unnecessary Hillsborough reference)
          Quote of the year :

The bit about the champions league qualification is valid though.

They didn't miss out - didn't they simply add an extra qualifying game for 2 lowest ranked teams?

Thing is, like most things in life, if you feel like there is an injustice occuring, why would you just sit there and take it????

Think about it, Barca's win the season after would have been tarnished as the previous winners would not have been there to defend what is/was theirs. Loosely put, and I mean very loosely, "to be the man, you gotta beat the man".

Even if that is the case, it's embarrassing to be the team which ****s on them from above because we're in G14.

Nope - most fair fans would say the champions should defend their trophy.

                          It's not sport otherwise.

So one of them missed out on the first round qualifier which they were entitled to.

It was the FA who chose to exclude us, not UEFA.
