You can rule out a U-turn by DIC if the thing about going back on a handshake is true.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Selling our club to the US market?

Dont make me laugh. firstly, what kind of market is there for English clubs in the US? I mean Man U have been trying to crack their market for years and I dont see what difference it has done. Secondly, assuming there is a market over there for us, haven't Man Utd surely have stolen a march on us on trying to break the American market anyway?

They're trying to do the best for the club? Whether they are or not, by taking the higher bid despite spending months trying to convince us of the benefits of a rival bid they'll never be able to shake off the accusation that they're doing this to line their pockets.

            Its not about USA

Its about Liverpool having the money to build a stadium
Its about Liverpool being able to sign better players
            Its about Liverpool moving forward

Its matters **** all where they come from
            They offered the better deal
            Time you accepted it

The better deal for the club, or the better deal for the shareholders? Key difference IMO.

And I'm too bitter to accept it.

Hicks probably made the difference. Gillett wasn't rich enough himself so he got someone to back him up.

They know how to run a sport club so I'm happy if they takes over the club.

                  ok fair enough

We dont know the ins and outs of each deal but lets say DIC did takeover.

Do you remember that leaked document about selling in 7 years?

                  Still want them in?

What kind of market was there for liverpool outside liverpool 20 years ago

What about the Overseas TV contract just signed

What about the US tour we did just a couple of years ago

What about the second tour we were due to do before we had to qualify for the Champs League

Do you think opening up a new market takes 3 games in pre season, or could it infact take a bit of effort to open up by far (far) the biggest sports market on the planet in the new GLOBAL MARKET????????????

                    Don't make me laugh!!!!!

Yeah, but if you read the article in the Echo, where it says Liverpool are delighted at the latest development that Hicks is involved in the bid, it suggests they accepted Gillett before they knew Hicks was on board, which is worrying as far as I'm concerned.

                            We hadn't noticed.

I don't understand how people can slate this deal, yet pronounce the Arabs as our saviours, when in reality they know **** all about either deal. Yes, The club had been saying how good the DIC deal would be, but things can change pretty quickly.
