Thanjk you.

I just compered the MLB transfer with a football transfer.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
I was encouraged by the pc (of which I only saw highlights) - what they were saying was pressing almost all the right buttons. I can't believe that their use of certain terminology is really such a big deal for some posters?
I think the onus now falls squarely on Parry to ensure the 'traditions' LFC is founded on remain intact. My only real concern regarding an 'outside' takeover is that the new owners will lose interest and bugger off leaving behind them a mess. These guys don't appear to have a history of such but it is important that Parry (and Moores, the fans, the players) impress on these guys why this is such a special sporting institution. That it is their privilege to be associated with it.
Broadly speaking it must be a good thing for us but we shouldn't take anything for granted - Gillette/Hicks are not a charity.
Frank.
Francis.
...."Any team that concedes as few goals as we concede is going to be tough to play against..." - Fernando Torres on Liverpool
And when I say 'play Gerrard on the left', I mean on the left
lets leave anti american aside H9 mate and look at it from a LFC point of view, them bloody yanks are good at business as someone else said on this thread(cant remember who). They never go into a business not wanting not to succeed. Parry & Moore saw that, recognized it and seized on it.
i thought that they were both genuine & took an interest in our club & city(used the word Scousers among other things).
Lets give them the benefit of the doubt and trust in Parry. The future is RED Heighway mate.
I've got to agree Red mate.
i watched the press conference yesterday and you couldn't help but be impressed by the two of them. On the face of it, it looks a very solid deal for LFC. I tried to find something I didn't like about them but in all honesty couldn't.
All this goaltender, franchise stuff doesn't bother me, its just different words for the same thing, like pavement & sidewalk. If i'm totally honest if they were from virtually any other country I'd be made up with the pair of them & in truth as long as they do the right thing for LFC, then thats all as I fan I can ask for.
i liked it when gillett said in his interview with either the beeb or sky that him & his son went to see us play chelski but had to sit in the chelski end as there was no other tickets available. They had to remain quiet for the game but forgot & screamed so loudly when we scored security had to rush in & save them from being mobbed by the chelski fans.
That's how I saw it, the money man and the trouble shooter. The one to reign Gillett in if he becomes too flamboyant. Hicks will make sure things are done properly.
Hicks to buy out Gillett in 4 or 5 years. Hicks is "da man".
Gillett sold him the idea, Hicks already likes it a lot and soon will want it all for himself
As an American I can promise that if Gillett and Hicks **** up LFC, I will hate them just as much as anyone else and then some. Doesn't matter to me where they come from as long as they deliver.
An interesting piece from the PC was that they said that renaming the stadium would generate enough money for one great player signing per year.
No emotion,simple buisness acumen.
Do we really want `pool playing at at stadium called eg."The Addidas stadium"?
Also if we are to get a new stadium in order to get public funding we must break ground on the new site in 60 days.
Immediate action on a stalled new stadium?.
All our dreams come true or not?
does it matter I'm sure you know your local boozer buy something other than it's called. Mine is the **** house
"When Sir Henry broke a fast, you cursed double glazing."
Parry has even come out on Five Live apologising for George's misuse of words, which I find insulting towards the Yanks, seeing into what lengths they've gone to make it all sweet and cushy for us fans.
"George maybe made that mistake a couple of times," Parry told BBC Radio Four's Today programme.
"If I went over there I might make the odd linguistic mistake."
There will always be pompous know-it-alls who will never be satisfied with anything. Always whinging about something. Pathetic.
I'm immensely pleased with the new owners, I was - like many others - very positively surprised at how they dealt with the media and their conduct in general.
