Not just for us, but for him. He likes the way english football is run, (anit racism etc.). the premiership IMHO would suit his style much better than the slow paced build up of Italian football. He has all the attributes to be a world class striker in the Premiership. hOw I wish Rafa would make him a priority signing. Eto'o even said before he would liek to play for us.
Have a feeling the chavs are getting rid of Maureen (obviously) so chelsea could still be an option if he wanted out next season IMO.
he probably would bazza mate but I think Rafa really wants VILLA

      Really?
I havn't seen a credible link in a good while linking us to him, I wonder what Rafa thinks about this latest Eto'o speculation though. I know it's not much to go on, but he did admit to knowing Eto'o on the official may be as close as we ever get to a transfer snippet off Rafa
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

seriously how much would Et'o cost ? around 40-50£ m, Rafa will never pay that for one player even with minted new owners in town
also Et'o seems to be a bit of a trouble maker, do we need such attitude at our club

Eto'o and Ronaldo, doesnt really make economical sense, especially as I couldn't see both players playing much at the same time. But then again, it is Milan.

The thing is that Eto'o is on Laporta's side.

                He was criticising Rossel.

If anybody it going to take the fall for this, it'll be Rijkaard.
It's not good because it's rude. It's good because it looks like it's good because it's rude.

Can't believe there are some people on here who wouldn't have him here.

Well if we can sign Bellamy and Pennant, then i think the attitude arguement should go out the window.

you think alpha mate, that would be a big mistake cos they can replace a player but not manager

Maybe we could sign Owen. Eto'o have said that he want to play with him.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

They would have to pay him a lot of money if they want him to play for them.... I think I have heard that before somewhere
