so many great goals mentioned on this thread but one that sticks out for me was Mcallister's free kick againstthe blue sh!te to win the game. To do it at Woodison made it all the sweeter.

There's a few contenders:

Ronnie Whelan V the scum League cup final 83.
Gary Mac v the ****e at Woodison.
Stevie G v the scum league 2002.
Stevie G v West Ham last years Fa cup final.
All three goals in Istanbul.
Collymores winner v Newcastle (4-3 game in the league).
Owen's winner in the 2001 Fa cup final

Most of my favourites have been mentioned but 2 that stick in the mind for me were the goals by Barnes and Beardsley against Everton in the 4-4 FA cup tie.

Also Collymore's last gasp winner against Newcastle and then Fowler's winner the year after. McAllister's free kick against Everton all for the signifincace of the goals and us getting good results after almost throwing away wins.

Riise's free kick against Utd too.

Of course there are Xabi own half efforts too. I also had a soft spot for Didi Hamann goals as they werent too frequent but beauties when they came.
