Spurs aren't exactly poor and Rafa will not pay over the odds. More chance of Alves signing than Lennon.

I'd take Lennon in a heartbeat, fantastically talented young lad.

The 'only' problem is that he is on a long term deal and Spurs would want silly money..20m.

Alves is a winger who plays as an attacking right back because Sevilla have Navas who also is a very good right winger.

Alves is better in defense than Navas and that is why he plays attacking right back.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I'd take Alves and Lennon. It might cost us short term but our right side would be sorted for the next 6-8 years. theyw ould have plenty of time to learn to play together.

If getting those 2 meant one of Crouch or Bellamy had to stay I'd take that. We'd need 1 goalscoring striker and a left winger to come up to scratch and our 1st 11 would be virtually there.

                  exactly Matt.

We create a hell of alot of chances, Lennon wont make these chances any easier for our strikers to finish. He is a very talented player, he can dribble the ball at tremendous pace....but his delivery into the box lacks that class that Ronaldo and Rooney have.

We need better delivery from our wide players....Quaresma, Alves, Ribery would be at the top of my list.

First and Foremost however is our need for a top class finisher....Samuel Eto'o, Klose or Huntelaar would do nicely. We could probably get Huntelaar and Klose for the price of Eto'o or Villa also. Also another name that could be thrown into the hat is Mario Gomez from Stuttgart. He is tall, quick, young and can head the ball...and he hasn't really struck peoples radars yet. I wouldn't be surprised to see Rafa go for him.

We have been linked with Gomez. He is a striker that score goals so I guess it was expected.

I think it is very clear that we need both.

Why we create more chances than any other team in the league.

Stats are crap. GH used to come out with the same bull sh!t...we create more chances than any other side, blah blah blah. We're all fooling ourselves if we think we can ever win the league with Gonzalez and Pennant on the wings.

We need at least one striker and at least one winger. Preferably 2 of each.

Our strikers and wingers probably wouldn't get into any of the other top 4 teams and they would even struggle to get into the Spurs team. Rafa needs to get it right in the summer or we'll fail miserably in the premiership again.

                              Too right mate.
We need quality width as well as quality up front. away from home against the big teams we have created little this season. Against Man U, Arsenal & Chelsea we didn't manage a goal away from home this seaon. Against Man u & Arsenal we never looked like scoring. Its more than poor finishing we need to sort it, its our creativity as well. Lets be honest we have only 1 genuinely creative player and thats SG. Thats not enough.

Bollocks to Lennon, all pace and limited end product IMO.

break the bank for Berbatov, he's world class.
