Same here, every media source is carrying Kuyt to Liverpool stories and they usually don't build to this kind of crescendo and then collapse.

i dont disagree with that at all and i honestly dont doubt his integrity but he did say a couple of weeks ago that kuyt would sign on the friday or something like that and it never materialised

No, I think you may have your wires slightly crossed there fagan. I don't think Groucho actually said "Friday", I think he said the deal was all but done and this was extrapolated by others to mean he was signing on that weekend.
