I haven't seen him since he was at Leverkusen. He is more of a Bergkamp type striker right?Originally posted by desertscouser View PostI think Berbatov is absolutely top class, my only concern would be that he seems to be quite injury prone.
I guess we need a poacher more, but a creative and flairy attacker would also be fine.
he would cost too much though, so I reckon AF is spot on when he says Huntelaar is a better punt for us, both footballwise and moneywise.--== Because the gang and the government is no different ==--

I wouldn't have Martins or Berbatov they are ****.I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

He's had two big injuries this season so 8 in 22 league appearances isn't so bad. Bare in mind this is his first full premiership season as well as the fact he's still scored 16 goals in a total 29 appearances proves that he's a class act.Originally posted by DeeGame View PostNeeds to score more goals he has only scored 8 in the league this season
Go and check out his goalscoring record in the bundesliga and in Internationals as well. It's very impressive.

Aston Villa did make an approach for him in Janurary, that I believe, infact, i also believe he is a Martin O Neil type player, and that he will be back for him in the summer.Originally posted by Joe Le Toff View PostWouldnt be at all surprised if theres something in thisBill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
