I went to the metro myself twice I think although I always found it a bit dodgy. As far as I'm aware it is still open although pretty pants now.

I just want to clarify something that some of you may/may not have heard. I want to draw your attention to this:
This is total nonsense and 'Debbie' is a member of the forum I frequent (Kerrydale Street). Despicably cheap pot shots if you ask me which totally undermine the point of the whole gesture.

Cheers for that mate. Wasn't aware of it but I'd have never believed that tool Jeeb7, or whatever 'it' was called.Originally posted by TheBhoy View PostI just want to clarify something that some of you may/may not have heard. I want to draw your attention to this:

Many of us have been following the HJC thread on your forum since it got going and we all realise and appreciate what really happened.
Also, what the **** is that GrahamTheGratifier **** all about? What a ****ing ignorant prick. :whatever:
I don't want to lower the tone of this ace thread, so I'll leave it at that. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Who cares whether the Celtic fans support SCUM or not?
They displayed the banner at their ground, that's a superb gesture.
If the Celtic fans had been upset with that the people with the banner wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes.
They are Celtic fans, not LFC fans and not SCUM fans, the whole point of it is it's a sign of football fan solidarity and it takes a lot of class for the fans of that club to do that.Originally posted by Gordon Brown

Yes, it is nonsense, however, when you get cities divided on footballing matters such as Manchester, Liverpool & Glasgow, then there will be those that will have agendas, or issues, with them that choose a over b, despite the actual realities of the real world.Originally posted by TheBhoy View PostI just want to clarify something that some of you may/may not have heard. I am sure I will be amongst many Reds that will stand up and applaud wholeheartedly and with gratitude what the Celtic fans have done for us in this matter, and I can only ask you and your fellow fans not get too embroiled or disheartened at what a minority will do, or think for that matter.
Sir, I salute thee.

Unfortunately the forums on the official site are full of ******s, Believe me when i say then are a small minority, i'm sure if you look on here, RedAndWhiteKop.com, and YNWA.tv you'll see a fair assesment of what real supporters think of the gestureWe managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

Cheers guys. It just really annoyed me to read that because events like this are so rare in football and should be celebrated and encouraged. 99% of the time I am pragmatic about there being idiots on the internet and let it wash over me. However seeing what was done and the sincere exchanges between us and the Liverpool fans was heartwarming. That kind of ****e just attempts to tarnish and undermine something positive that has come out of people empathising with common human emotions....grief and a sense of injustice.

Isn't it just?! I loved it in there whenever I went back home but all my mates stopped going a few yaers ago so I haven't been in a while. It's definitely the best night out in Glasgow. You could spend all night in there eyeing up all the fit birds.Originally posted by TheBhoy View PostOoohh yes it's still going and has been my fav for the the last 15 yrs. Babe central.

I love my trips to celtic games (I've even been to rangers games in ibrox) - I try to go a few times per year - I get the same passion around Celtic Park as I do at Anfield. It really lightens the heart to see gestures like that between fans. I also know that Rangers fans have very close ties to LFC aswell - it is through gestures like this where you can see the soul of the clubs and the decent fans have a voice.
As regards Marky's comments - everyone knows about the bad side of things - there is probably a sick proudness for some people to say they're affected by it because they live in NI - those days are dying and there is nobody happier than me that they are.
thank you Celtic - YNWA - JFT96
