Whose to say but from what I've seen of him he has a lot more to his game than Pennant. We need to buy good british talent as well for those rainy away days in Jan etc.

As been reported in the papers the yanks are bankrolling him to the tune of 50 million or so. So how would you spend that this summer? plus the money he will get from sales of players which will probably push it up to 60-65 million. Now what is known is that he will get alot of money so before anyone says "how do we know he'll get this much" just pick your players cause its a real possibility this summer we are on a crest of a wave if all things go well for the remainder of the season it sets us up nicely for the Summer transfer season and competing against other big clubs.

Why does everyone keep talking about Richards. Yes, he's quality but hardly what we need Finnan is quality and Arbeloa looks like a find.

Our defense is not an issue, though seeing a quality left back who can defend would ne nice. Riise and Aurelio are lovely going forward, but go missing sometimes defensively, which is still a worry.

If we play 4-3-3, rotating Masher, Alonso, Gerrard and Momo in midlfield, I would quite happliy see £50m spent on a whole new front line.

Villa, Huntelaar or E'To, take your pick ......

Or play 4-4-2, I don't care, but money has to be spent on going forward and scoring goals, not plugging holes in solid defences.
