If we are to sell anyone I reckon it will be Bellers and def Zenden. Keep everyone else.

Villa is undoubted quality, but I think he is going through a purple patch at the present. It can't go on for ever. And the money wanted for him is ridiculous. Personally I would rather get Torres or Huntelaar. Or if Westham are relegated why not Tevez?

Watched Schweinsteiger this morning against Milan. He's an ugly ****, but what a player. If we could, def be in for him.

Alves has been a dream for ages. We need his versatility on the right.

If Dos Santos was an option I'd love us to go for a young creative midfielder. he could be the missing link?

    So...

    Torres/Huntellar/Tevez
    Schweinsteiger/Dos Santos
    Alves

    That'd be sweeeeeeet!
    Me Scuzi!

Now what is known is that he will get alot of money so before anyone says "how do we know he'll get this much" just pick your players cause its a real possibility this summer we are on a crest of a wave if all things go well for the remainder of the season it sets us up nicely for the Summer transfer season and competing against other big clubs.

      Villa 22 million
      Alves 12 million
      G.Bale 9 million/Bridge 8 million
      M.Richards 11 million

= 54/55 million spent, Rafa strolls onto pitch in pre season training with his new players
      4/5 million over budget,great management,Rafa get`s the sack.

And you won`t get Villa or Alves for those prices....................

        Alves 15m
        Klose 10m
collection of random young players 5m

I'd use the cash to clone Carra.

I want the team to hit the ground running next season and none of this not knowing what the **** each other is doing until January

They need Arteta more than they would 7 million, they are half a team without him.

                  Alves - 17m
                  Chivu - 8m
                  Eto'o - 25m

bellamy sold to someone like the villa for a bit of cash, fowler and zenden going on frees with gozalez taking year on loan at a prem team to toughen up, if sunderland were promoted think keane might put a bit of fear into him which would be good. as for masher, wait till last minute to spend the money, hopefully have a bit more prize money for consideration.

hasnt it been nearly agreed on another thread that Masch has already been purchased by us? Otherwise he wouldnt have been able to come at all....10 mill apparently but at least hes ours. If so that frees up 15 mil of your fantasy football budget....
For the record id like to see one of eto'o/villa/torres,plus lennon, joe cole & some youngsters a la dos santos, bale etc
With money from sales I reckon this is achievable.

We have signed Mascherano on an 18 month contract and we have first option to sign him after that so Rafa won't need to make a decision until 2008 when it comes down to if he want to sign him after that.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                            Barcelona's Eto'o won't rule out Liverpool move
                            tribalfooball.com - April 04, 2007

Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o has refused to rule out a move to Liverpool at the end of the season.

The Cameroon ace is Reds boss Rafa Benitez's top target for the summer market and dominated discussions on Sunday between the Spaniard and the club's new owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett.

Asked about Liverpool's interest, Eto'o told Antenna 3: "I have three years left on my contract with Barcelona. But nobody knows what is going to happen."

New contracts for Xabi, Stevie G and Carra. Also Luis G.

Cover for CB, RW and a Striker.

Can't think of a CB who will settle for being rotated who is top quality.
RW: Alves is number 1 priority in this position.
ST: Ideally one of Villa, Torres or Eto'o. If not Klose, Bent or Huntelaar.

Tevez or Robinho would be interesting to.

Any cash leftover then maybe a LB, Bale, Lahm or Abidal would be nice.
                              Forwards.......
