I actually think with better players around him he's lose the ball far less anyway. You tend to notice the games where he loses the ball most are the ones where people are not moving for him and he doesn't have options so ends up taking too much time on the ball. With a couple more quality attack minded players we'd get more out of him, and certain other players too.

So............Do you think we`re going in the right derection to win the PL.

i dont think garcia is going anywhere, it wouldnt make any sense. he would be very hard to replace without spending big. more media bull****, he hasnt played for awhile, he must be on his way out :whatever:

I'm not sure I'd want him to go. He's a cracking little player on his day who can offer alot to the team. We've missed him at times this season since he's been out.

I think we'd be mad to let him go. We don't have many creative players as it is and there's no telling how well the new signings will fit in. Even if they do work out great, Garcia can cover a number of positions and would given us strength in depth when it comes to genuine creative talent.

Luis Garcia on his day is lethal for the whole 90 minutes. When he's not playing well, he gives the ball away on too many occasions, but still... He's the guy who is the most creative in our team and the guy who scores a goal when you least expect it!

I can only to Garcia! Hope he gets a new contract (I don't think Rafa is that stupid to let him go).

I think Garcia is is one of the few players that Rafa regards as being vital to us. Let's not forget wasn't he one of the first players to be sounded out by Rafa when he took the job? I doubt if he'll be sold.
If the stories are true and we do have "unlimited funds" then we can expect a number of good players who've done well to fall by the wayside. Let's say Rafa goes and spends £18M on Alves (in Mail on Sunday again this AM) where does that leave Finnan? Crouch could go. Done absolutely great things for us IMHO but if more money is there and a better alternative comes available.............

Garcia deserves 1 more season... if he gets back to the level of the first season, then he's vital in Europe if not the EPL.
