A lot of the older people who left 30-40 or even 50 years ago to make their money abroad either yearn to go back or actually do so in their retirement. It is a beautiful country, quite a different culture to this country although the lifestyle is becoming more Westernised.

Great place to retire to but I dont think I'd want to work there. I was offered a job out there a few years ago with a big corporate firm but didnt really consider it. I chose teaching instead

I will go back to Cyprus one day though, after I've made my fortune. Average salary over there is something pathetic like £11k a year. Low tax rate though

As nobody else has bothered responding I'll take the bait. IMHO as true Liverpool fans we should only ever sing songs praising our own club, players or manager. If we sing songs about other clubs or their players (or worse still their families) then we are just lowering ourselves to the same pathetic level as the Mancs and the Blue ****e.

I agree, no way should we be singing a song about other teams or players, it should be a song supporting Liverpool.

To be honeast though, I personally think our version of this song is ****e, the lyrics are crap and singing it quickly kind of ruins the effect.
