Mascher had a quite game, but didn't play that badly - did his job, broke up their attacks, passed it to Xabi and let him do the creative stuff. Xabi was one of our better players tonight and pretty much the only one showing any composure.

Might've happened too quick for him, but had he reacted quicker, he could've diverted the cross...shame really.

Is correct...probably thought that the position Dogman was in against Agger Do, that he wasn't going to get past him.

Lost his concentration and his man, as someone else said, 1st time seen Areola not have a solid game.

Can someone tell me if Dogface lost a header all night??? It just seemed that every single time the ball was played in the air to him he won it. I think we should look at playing Sami at Anfield (more experience and better in the air)

With that comes the fact that he's slow. I dread to think how bad it could be if Drogba gets to run at him with the ball.

I'd stick with the 2 that played tonight but make sure that Drogba is Carras man.
