The reason. He hasn't delivered and is to injury prone.

Please don't mention Owen because I used the words injury prone

        **** thread I agree.

No-one should be sold on one performance, not even Diao!!

Bellers just hasn't lived up to what I expected of him, and whether he'll be sold is all down to Rafa. If we can get a top quality striker in this summer then I fully expect Bellers to be sold, at a profit (for a change for us).

The decision will be made with view to his overall contribution throughout the season, and not just on the one game as the numpty of a thread suggests!!

We would only have one player left if we should sell the players based on last nights performance and that is Reina, not even Carra was good enough.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Yeah that's a stupid thread. It should be pulled off.

              Btw, sack Rafa too.

I don't think he's been **** - he's just not been good enough. He doesn't score enough goals and he isn't consistent enough. I'd flog both him and Kuyt, but that's another story.
I agree with shaggy entirely. This isnt a judgement on last night, its reflective on his entire season. He just hasnt looked a consistent goal threat for us when up front. I was one of the ones that was happy when we signed bellamy thinking that he might raise his game to another level at LFC, but I have been proved very very wrong.

As for kuyt, well you cant fault his work rate, but again never a goal threat. Still i'd hang onto dirk, but bellamy can go. Sooner the better.

There is no point in keeping him as he will never get in the team ahead of Eto'o and Torres next season

He got zero service last night so what does anyone expect?

At last - a voice of reason .......... Bellamy was poor last night without doubt but he didn't get a pass of note all night

I agree with those who say he hasn't been spectacular all season and hasn't scored enough but he offers something totally different to our other strikers. If I was a centre half and had a choice to mark Crouch (for example) or Bellamy I know which one I would choose - & it wouldn't be the little fcuker who will run you ragged & out of position all day long

I am not as keen as many on here to get rid in the summer but in saying that would gladly sacrifice him if a better player became available - I would say that of every member of the squad though
At a football club there's a holy trinity- the players the manager and the supporters, Directors dont come into it, they are only there to sign the cheques " - Bill Shankly

                        If only

His movement was rubbish though and never once made himself available. He didn't get into the right areas to hurt them and didn't appear to even want to get into the right areas. He strolled around too and didn't do enough pressing/harrying.

And all this while Kuyt did his devastatingly accurate impression of Emile Heskey by running around a lot in the centre circle.

He didn't run anyone ragged at all last night and nor did he drag anyone out of position. His movement isn't intelligent enough.

Completely anonymous last night. We need big game players and I dont think he is one.

If we can make a profit by selling I think we should, I am sure we can bring in someone superior to replace him.
