I said the above thing before we signed him.

The difference between for example Villa and Bellamy is that Villa is a very clever player and makes the right runs. Bellamy is as fast as him but that's about it.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Oh the lot of you ... specialists FFS.

If he wins us this match and the final then what will be your analysis. It's easy to understand why he didn't shine yesterday as Chelsea was playing deep and on the counter. That's not rocket science FFS. And he's never been a prolific goalscorer as he brings more people into play than anything. He's better than Owen in that respect.

I for one am hoping this summer will see Rafa at his most ruthless. No more ****ing about with 'potential', 'possibilities' or 'hard workers'. This is make or break for Rafa and the squad.

Zenden, Dudek, Fowler, Bellamy, Le Tallec, Guthrie etc etc should be sold.

I'd also consider offers for Gonzalez, Paletta, Kewell and one or two others...

Let's bring in TWO or THREE players of genuine quality and class. We need pace, movement, players with a few tricks in their locker, a bit of skill, touch, talent, ability...

If Rafa spends all summer bringing in 7 or 8 players like Voronin, Pederson, Bent etc I'll cry.

Yes and the ruthlest of them all should be Rick Parry. He should sack Rafa and appoint you as manager.

Are you trying to be funny or clever ? Either way, you're failing miserably...

i dont care how much it costs but we need someone who can turn a game with a piece of individual skill and take on defenders we never looked like scoring last night which is really worrying!
I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.

Was talking in general rather than specifically last night Shaggy. He has had to change his game to fit in with our style of play and has struggled admittedly, but when he plays he usually runs the channels and pressurises defenders better than anyone else we have, dragging defenders out of position and creating space for others

I don't think he is good enough to be a starter week in week out in a league winning side but he is not a bad as many are making out

He's not bad but he needs to raise his game a lot. How often does he get caught offside? There was no sense of urgency from him or the erst of the team for that matter.

                        Bingo.

Until we've got someone lined up - to sell our only player with genuine electric pace, and one of the few players we've got that likes to take men on - that'd just be stoopid.

I'm all for getting in somebody better, but until we do that we need to hang on to him. Tbh I wouldn't even mind him as a squad option, I quite like Craig

He did absolutely nowt yesterday & i dont know why it took so long to replace him with crouch.

This was a Semi final we was playing last night yet Bellamy seemed to think we was playing a conference team & was not interested in the game.

personally i would sell him asap this summer.

Not on the basis of last night, but I think we should cash in if ONeill is so keen. Bellers is ok, but not great.
We need a speedy replacement though.
