I'd sell all our strikers bar Crouch, and that has nothing to do with last night. Neither bellamy or Kuyt are good enough at the very highest level. Both are good players but aren't in the class of a Drogba, Henry or Rooney. Thats the sort of striker we need if we are to compete next season.

Neither belamy or kuyt were bad buys as such, for £16m the pair they weren't overpriced. both would fetch at least what we paid for them if sold. however, we've got the cash, lets splash it on what we really need, top quality in the final 3rd.

Ok, fair enough I cant be arsed carrying that part on but to be fair to Bellamy, even if he had done what you say (even tho I dont reckon there was the space) the rest of the team in the first half were ****e and the passing was so weak they wouldnt have found any runs anyway. Like I said, I think he would have done better, and certainly done better than Kuyt, if he had played with Crouch and our passing was like it was in the second half thus making Bellers a victim of Rafa's tactics and a ****e all round team performance and certainly not just a case of him being wank.

But I stand by my rating of 4/10 for Bellamy.

At the time I thought he was a cost efficient stopgap signing, and an improvement on Cisse.

He has been all of those things.

He will most likely be the one striker to go in the summer - obviously not including the likes of Cisse and Pongolle.

I agree.

Just imagine Henry (for example) up front with Crouch. Between them we'd have everything you'd want in a strike force. We'd be laughing.

That said I'd give Kuyt another season. He's a £10m pound signing, and you don't sell a player after one season when you've paid that much. Unless you are Chelsea or Real Madrid.

What we need isn't hard working strikers like Bellamy or Kuyt. We need a top class finisher and I don't care if he works hard for the team or not.

I'd have no problems if Rafa sold all our strikers including Crouch as I feel there are better options out there to replace all four.

Bellamy = ****e, not just based on yesterdays performance which was probably his worst but overall, not good enough for us never has been never will.

Lil Louis has more CL goals this year than Bellamy, so - as has now been proven, not the top drawer "striker" we need for the next level, get our money back (and more if poss) and invest in the next level up, if we do that - then the cost of the new striker will be offset somewhat quite considerably.

He's been of that standard all his career. I'm amazed why people are surprised. Never good enough. If we get our money back on him that would be good business. if Villa or BBurn pay anything over that it's a bonus.
