What's that valid from, valid until bit about? Does that mean you have to fly out on that day and home on that day, yeah?

Ok, im seriously thinking about booking flights over to Athens.
Anyone think it would be safe to go over without a ticket, and if I do. What price would I expect to have to pay for a ticket?Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I would assume so, I doubt there would be space on the other planes for you to be able to pick and choose which flights you want.Originally posted by Marky19 View PostWhat's that valid from, valid until bit about? Bazza, there'll be loads over there without tickets, you might get lucky just after kick off. I reckon you'll be looking at anywhere from £300 - £800Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:

can't see that happening, not with how safety conscious people are these days and events of the past.Originally posted by Red_hot View PostOn Talksport they reckon the Greeks are just gonna let people in cos they don't want them roaming the streets!Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:

Mate of mine went to Istanbul, he got to the ground earlier than me and when there was signs of a bit of a crush apprarently they just opened the gates and let everyone in.Originally posted by Red_hot View PostJust reporting what I heard. Apparently that's pretty much what happened at Istanbul though.

tbh I wouldn't want to get in if that was the case, or should I say, I wouldn't want to be part of a crush to get in.Originally posted by nobbylad View PostMate of mine went to Istanbul, he got to the ground earlier than me and when there was signs of a bit of a crush apprarently they just opened the gates and let everyone in.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:

I think it was more a case of there being a sudden glut of people queuing at once and the guys on the gate **** themselves and just opened it.Originally posted by bazza76 View Posttbh I wouldn't want to get in if that was the case, or should I say, I wouldn't want to be part of a crush to get in.
My mate said it wasn't a bad crush, but just starting to get a bit tight. Maybe the stewards weren't used to that many people, but he reckons they just let everyone in...he still has his ticket in tact.
Must admit, when we rolled up, it was pretty relaxed in terms of people checking tickets and they didn't look like they really knew/were too arsed about what they were doing.
