Stop moaning on the internet Rushie, like someone said write a letter, which is the correct way of flagging such issues.
Cheers for that great advice, I'll certainly remember it next time I've got a ticket to give away...

If you'd got 7 or more credits you wouldn't give a **** about anyone on 6

It really ****s me off that a bloke I know (I hesitate to call him a mate) who has a Fancard and has only been to around 15 games in total this season, including the six 'proper' CL games, has just as much chance of getting a ticket for Athens as me. How can that be right?

Like I've said before, why doesn't the Maccabi Haifa game count?

And for all those of you who say "you're lucky you've got a season ticket, I've been on the list for 115 years" I'm sorry but kindly ***** off*...

I like your gusto but ive been to every home game for 9 years without a season ticket, I agree they should perhaps base it on all cup comps, cos how many season ticket holders went to the Carling Cup games, I did.

But I think I should have had 7 credits with the Maccabi game - that's my problem!

Maybe I should have gone to PSV or Bordeaux on my own just to get an extra ****ing credit but I was convinced I would qualify anyway...

As someone as already said, this is a sign of the things to come. With more and more fans and a bigger stadium in a few years time, every big match will go to a ballot just like the Mancs have to do...

Rushie, I'm just sick of people slagging off PTS'ers over ticket allocations. What's the point? The club set the rules and we have no option but to accept their policy.

The only correct manner for addressing any such issues is to contact the club.

Slagging off pts'ers won't get you anywhere.

Anyway I suspect Sara's right, it's only an issue cause you haven't automatically qualified?

As for favours relating to spare tix, have I forgotten a good turn you've done for me?

Firstly I haven't slagged off any PTS'ers (whatever they are). All I said was it didn't think it was fair that a bloke I know (he's a proper Manc by the way) has only been to 15 games all season yet he's got the same chance as me of getting a ticket; indeed I'm already bracing myself for him to tell me tomorrow that he's qualified when I haven't. How can any rational person tell me that's right?

Secondly, this is a ****ing football forum where people air their views whether they're good, bad or indifferent, whether they're positive, neutral or negative. That's what a ****ing forum is for. Surely you wouldn't want every post in every thread to just say "well done Mr Parry, you did a jolly good job there"...? Writing to the club is a complete waste of time and you know that.

Finally, anybody who knows me on this site (and obviously you're not one of them) will know that I have gone out of my way many times to try to help people get tickets or with other things (e.g. info on flights for Istanbul). I even gave away my own season ticket to someone so that they could go to the Chelsea semi-final and experience the atmosphere whilst I watched it in a pub round the corner.

I've never asked for any favours from anybody in return and I'm not asking for anything I don't think I'm entitled to. I sincerely think all season ticket holders who've bought tickets for every cup match this season (including the CL and the Maccabi qualifier) should get priority over your PTSers. After all, it's us season ticket holders who have to pay the best part of a grand in advance to help fund the players you all come and watch. As for Sara being right, well there's always a first time.

I don't think I need to add anything else on the subject...

Im a PTS'er, costs me over a grand too, thats my point. wish id bought Gala away now though. and i went to Haifa too. It should be done on points for every game attended including league and cups that way the seaso's get some priority as they go all league games.

I'd agree that some element of loyalty should be involved. Those of us who've been seasies for years [for me since the early nineties, although i used to pay on the gate at every game going back to the early eighties] all get pissed off like you are mate. This should have been sorted out years ago but it never was, and now the precedent has been set. Anyway, it suits the club to get new fans involved on a regular basis - how much do YOU spend in Liverworld every match - **** all like me i'll bet.

Like I've said before, why doesn't the Maccabi Haifa game count?

I thought the Graz game did qualify for Istanbul, but there were loads of people pissed off cos they'd organised holidays around that time. Now you may think loads of people can take holidays when they want, but it certainly isn't true in many major manufacturing industries [not sure about at Halewood?] and anyway - if you book your holidays in say March / April how the hell do you know if or when the home qualifier is going to be?

And for all those of you who say "you're lucky you've got a season ticket, I've been on the list for 115 years" I'm sorry but kindly ***** off*...

                      It was her birthday.
Would I have got married during the football season ?
                      Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'

Naw i don't that's the problem, my mate says they were handing tickets outside the asturick(sp?) stadium in 2005, reckon it could be the same here? Even still going over would be a great experience in itself.
                              Serioulsy tempted.
