According to club's travel partner packagaes won't be on sale till Tuesday earliest which suggests club still have not finalised ticketing arrangements.

Between Agean,Olympic and Cyprus airways there are about 10 flights a day to Athens and incredibly every single one of them (barring the ones that arrive just before or after kick off) is fully booked.

I've managed to get on the last available 6am - 6am flight

Flying to Xanthi on 22nd, check into hotel, then boat into Athens, out on the piss, find somewhere to crash, game the next day, probably back in Xanthi by 24th where we have a nice little five day holiday.

Whole thing for about £200.

Kos for a week for £99ish then from Kos to Athens for £140. Throw in the price of a ticket and Im done and done for less than £300.

Anyone else going to Kos?

Possibly if a miracle happens and i go - four of my mates have booked an all inclusive to kos in a nice hotel for about £300 and then internal flights for about £100 or so - i'm looking into to flying out to kos and just crashing in their apartment for a few days and then flying onto athens

cant see any fight to athens online, anyone know where the next nearest airport is to the final

we're flying into thessalonaki (sp ??) about 500km north of athens but the flight from stanstead with german wings is only 180 quid retrun, via cologne

it was the best i could come up with, that spell as a YTS travel agent on north john st wasn't a complete waste of time then !
