They're in the media an awful lot aren't they. I hope they start to pull back a little once they settle in.

The one thing I genuinely liked about Moores' style was that he kept out of the spotlight. I hope the new owners start being more limited in how accessible they are to the press.

To be fair, we've needed to see them at first so we can know who they are. I'd say they've won us over now and its time to just get on with the job of helping to make us great, and letting the actions speak for themselves.
    Moores was too quiet

These guys are talking too much

Somewhere in between would be nice

Maybe we can get a billionaire mute to buy them out?

I agree too but as you say, they are probably doing this so we can see the kind of people they are

Unfortunately they are American businessmen, they all talk too much and like the exposure. We just have to deal with it and hope they settle down.

yeah and i actually like a lot of what they're saying.

but they're starting to say things like money is no object and half of me wets myself and the other half says "dont tell the fecking world!"

either way, i am happy with them now, so they don't need to win me over with words any more. now is the time for action, so they can zip it and just get on with it in my view now.

A couple of interviews here and there in the build up isnt too bad. They are new and the journo's obviously want their take upon the CL and plans for Rafa/club in the coming months and years. I thought Hicks came across quite well last in the ITV interview.

Im glad the spoke when we didnt know them but looks like they like the media attention which comes with a premiership club. I preferred Moores approach to the media and the way he done what was needed and kept away from the spotlight

It's their money lol! I think if anyone was going to try and minimise expenditure it would be them (who, by the way, are extremely experienced and savvy businessmen). I think the media tiself has been far more responsible for this 'money no object' **** that's coming out recently, if you actually look at quotations from the men themselvs they are far more along the lines of 'Rafa wil be given funds to compete this summer' or 'If the right player comes along then we will give Rafa the money to try and buy him'.

I think they have said all the right things thus far and I enjoy reading their comments.

That´s the point though, he was way too quiet and Parry too, I always had the feeling they were hiding something regarding the stadium for example, never any news for supporters, they could have just said that it would be delayed and would be a copy of other average stadiums!
                          * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

On ITV the follow up question was "No matter what the price".

                            Hicks paused and said "yes".

Fair do's it made me pretty much squeal like Ned Flanders getting purple drapes, but still, I reckon the approach to the media is the one area thing they should learn from Moores on.

they should say something like, within reason or aslong as we are not being taken for a ride. something like that. I would say they are the only owners in Europe talking like that.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
