All this agreeing is getting tiring.
In that situation 9 out of 10 Esters choose to pick and argument with AFII.

I think it's important they communicate themselves but they seem to be in the spotlight far too much. Immediately after the takeover I can understand lots of publicity but I thought it would die down, which is just hasn't.

        I don't mind their increased media exposure. I don't think it's a big deal.

I don't see it as a lack of class or anything detrimental to the club. They're just different people from David Moores.

It's his birthday though so it's only fair to lay off him. By the way, am I right to assume that "AF" stands for "Alex Ferguson"?
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

You are actually describing this thread...

Christ, are we *already* slating the new owners? It's not like they are running around looking for TV cameras, like a couple of elderly Paris and Lindsays... they are interesting and charismatic, and have proved themselves good for a soundbite, so the media seeks them out. I suppose some of you lot would have them dive into the bushes whenever a Sky crew is near by.

What's wrong with a little swagger? A little bravado?

                  No, AnfieldForever II.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Fussy arent we! Fact is any new owner would attract criticism from some, its human nature to be scared of change.

Personally if Rafa gets serious spending money and G&H deliver on a 75K stadium i could not care what they say to the media. From what i hear from them they are determined to deliver what we desire, lets give them a little time to deliver. It will not happen over night but it is more likely to happen than before and that is due to their backing.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

From what I'm reading and hearing from other fans (no inside info). The rumour is that Rafa was promised that funds would be in place at the end of the season - the champions league final - Hicks and Gillet have not transfered these funds yet and it is taking a bit of time possibly a couple of weeks to get it sorted hence Rafa's outburst because he think's either he's been lied to or they don't realise how important it is to act now.

As I said just a rumour.
**** OFF HICKS AND GILLETT WE DON'T WANT YOU.

They don't need to keep doing these interviews. They've already made their intentions perfectly clear. The time for talking is over, time for action.

The press are after them, not the other way around. When the manager comes out and publicly chastises them for not having funds available, the press in turn look for a response from them. It's Journalism 101, not rocket science.

As I said, I don't see them in the spotlight after the first few weeks of the season, and in all honesty it will most likely die off after a few signings and the focus shifts to the new lads instead of where the money is for the new lads.

I know we're all after more press and things to talk about after that final, but no need to pick on every little thing.

It's their new baby and they spent 450++ million on it, let them revel in the novelty of it for a bit. I know I sure as hell would.
