    Underperformer of the Year

It's award season, but I haven't seen an award for the underperformer of the year. So thought I would get the ball rolling.

    Your choice?

Mine is Stevie G, he just hasn't provided much this year. His passing has been diabolical, he's scored next to no goals and he's clearly demonstrated a complete lack of discipline when asked to play on the right.

He definitely will need to step up his game if we are to win anything next year.

    Steven Gerrard.

Don't agree w/Pennant he's been about our most creative player since Christmas.

Xabi, true has been below expectations but at least his tackling and ball retention have been awesome. You couldn't say that about Stevie.

We don't care about the Mancs. BTW Rooney scored more goals than any of our guys in the EPL.

                No doubt about it; Alonso.

True, as you can tell by my username I had high expectations

Everytime I've adopted a player for my username they have sucked lemons (Josemi was the last one).

Needless to say I will not be reincarnated as El Jefe. Just in case

We haven't seem much of Super Stevie this year.. I was hoping that his pre-match bluster would herald an appearance last night, but was disappointed. He could have destroyed that Milan midfield.

Difficult, cause many have disappointed with their potential

Tossup between Bellamy and Zenden (special mention for Jerzy)
                      We need better attacking players!

                      Torres aint enough

                        Sissoko.
HAs had a few good games, Barca way being the highlight, but then as soon as Mascher joined, his confidence tumbled, he has been brutal ever since barca away.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                        * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

That one I disagree with strongly. Momo was Boss prior to his injury. When he came back he was rusty AND rafa played him out of position. Since then he's hardly has a look in due to El Jefe arriving. Stevie was far more disappointing.

your entitled to you opinion mate. His good performances for me, this season apart from Barca and the community shield havnt been that memorable.
