Err lads. There's room for both. They could both play in some matches and 1 or other in othere while resting one etc. Not to mention injuries. Aurelio can **** off.

He is not a bad player but has too many inconsistant games for us. His distribution is not brilliant but he has improved denfensively. I would like another left back if there were better out there. Surprised we didn't bid for Bale. Aurelio may be a better option depending on how he plays after the injuryOriginally posted by Howard_lfc View PostYou do my ****ing head in you do. If JAR was anywhere near as bad as you're trying to make out then he'd have been shipped out ages ago. You are talking ****e. End of.

If we get rid of Aurelio I will be pissed off. He is our best option in our squad there just too injury prone. He is the best crosser and free kick taker in our current squad and is the arguably the best passer bar Alonso.
Seeing that he was starting to play very very well upto the injury I'd be very sad and frustrated if he had to leave. I hear he was very very close to a NT call up. I've been following Fabio a lot over the years and he is one of my favourite players, I know he has what it takes to succeed providing he can stay fit. If he leaves now I'll be very sad and frustrated.
To replace him with Matt Taylor would be disgusting especially if Riise stayed. We all admit our squad is a little rough around the edges and we don't have enough technical/creative players and Fabio is definitely one of them. Also we may need him(or Riise at that) to play on the left wing next season if no one is signed. Kewell and Leto only doesn't sit too well with me.

Would prefer to see Riise go before Aurelio, as you say we need better quality in the squad. After 5 years at Anfield can we see Riise getting much better? I'm not sure. If he worked on his consistancy maybe we should keep him. Agree that Kewell and Leto for the left would be a bit of a problem but we still have Garcia who can do a job thereOriginally posted by Zapater View PostIf we get rid of Aurelio I will be pissed off. agree everyone seems to be forgetting Little Luis. We've missed him massively.Originally posted by molonyg View PostWould prefer to see Riise go before Aurelio, as you say we need better quality in the squad. While I like Aurelio for a defensive unit a key thing is cohesion, which is usually bought about by playing together. If he can't be relied upon to be fit then I think we probably have to move on.Originally posted by Zapater View PostIf we get rid of Aurelio I will be pissed off.
