The problem Operation, is it is clear to me that you have an agenda with Sissoko and it is gettibg beyond the joke now. I agree that at times he's been rather poor for us but ffs he actually had a good game today and many others seem to agree, yet you coninue to slag him off.

I would try and justify it, but it probably wouldn't go down well. All I will say is that he looks all action, but it doesn't result in much. I'll leave it at that.

Just watched the game and apart from the peno's we completely dominated. Momo was incredible and his passing was much better. He won everything in midfield and along with Alonso dominated midfield. Pennant and Kewell looked lively, Babel was quick but needs a little time to gel. Because of Momo... YES MOMO, the defence was totally untroubled and I didnt think Agger was playing until well into the first half. Kuyt missed an absolute hatful of chances but at least he was getting into the positions. Torres showed great touch and could have had one. Overall, I don't give a **** about the penalties... Pompey will wonder how they won that. We created a lot of chances and once the lads up top get a bit of sharpness into their game we will be putting the likes of Pompey away. They've spent a lot this summer too, but we walked all over them. Very encouraged.

Hmmm. I moan about Momo. Granted. He is the only player I have criticised and have also praised Pennant. You are completely guessing about the rest. It isn't true. I do not moan about the team. Easy to make unsupported generalisations though isn't it. Pick another thread, any thread and quote it.

I appreciate you feel strongly about negative posting, but it's lazy to latch on to me and blame me for all the world's ills. I may have been grumpy on this thread, but that was almost all at other posters, not the team.

And regarding being pedantic, I don't think trying to correct a misinterpretation of my post that lead to things kicking off is pedantic.

I genuinely don't think think my posts are generally negative. As I said, one grumpy thread. I agree we have a great team, I agree that we have a very bright future and I don't think I've said anything to suggest otherwise. And i'm not usually confrontational. Anyway, maybe you'll see my cheery side another day
