dunno.. to me there have only ever been a couple of real geniuses and that's Maradonna and Zindane, certainly in my lifetime (35). They were just on another level altogether esp ZZ.

Stevie will never scale those heights although he would make my current world 11 every time.

Genius? No, I don't think that is the right word to describe him. An incredible footballer, nstinctive, with a lot of ability and no real weak spots.

In all honesty i don't think Genius is the right word to describe 'any' football player. But for the type of player Gerrard is, the way/style of football he plays..i don't believe there is anyone better at what he does.
