No, I saw him on Sky the other day with his shoes and socks off, pointing at the broken toe. It was one of the middle ones, and it was minging. All curly and yellow.

He could still kick the ball with the outside of the foot.

I still expect Stevie to play through the pain barrier and a special protection casted on it.

Hairline fracture of his toe but still fit enough to play against the Chavs. It's an absolute certainty that the Chavs will be targeting his injury...glad that dirty **** Essien isn't playing.

                      Essien will be playing.

I just hope Gerrard can play properly, it's not worth playing him if he's 70% or something, we paid the price badly for doing that with Carra in the Derby.

I agree regarding Gerrard. No point playing him if he's not playing at full pelt or even if there is the slightest chance that he may aggrevate the injury. If he does or doen't play, Rafa should pull him out of the England squad. I'd be sick if his injury worsened whilst playing for England.

so will this mean he will play the chavs game but then be out for say three weeks after that?

Rafa said he took him off yesterday because his legs looked tired not because of an injury

                              Take that as you will........

No idea but after Chelsea we do have some games we "should" absolutely piss and theres a 2 weeks international break aswell so wont be a problem if that is the case
