    i'm well aware of that, but how often has Rafa played him there in the last 2 seasons, not many, he needs time to adjust to playing a bit further forward and being a bit more adventurous with his football

    was thinking that exact thing, Arbeloa has really been impressing me, he was a bit dodgy at the end of last season but has looked great so far this season, and especially with Aurelio nearly ready to come back, we're going to have a lot of capable left backs

    No mate, i thought he played very well, Arbeloa had SWP in his pocket and didn't need too much defensive cover, and Riise beat Essien nearly every time he had the ball, but we didn't give the ball to him on the deck nearly enough times.

    If you think otherwise then i think you were watching a different game.
