We're only 3 games into the season. I'm sure this was a one-off and won't happen again. Lets all huddle up and get this no.19 rocket launcher launchin, all together now!

I can't help but feel we are bound to have a lot of this crap this season. Agents or news papers getting over excited if a player isn't in the team for a couple of games and I suspect most of it will be something made out of nothing.

A big part of a number of players futures at the club will be down to how they react when left on the bench or out of a match day squad IMO.

I think I'm going to wait a month or two before judging any of our new recruits.

Doesn't matter what he said or what his agent said.

He's crap, Rafa made a mistake on this one. He will be our main weak link, get rid please

This is being blown out of proportion a bit, however, if he really is kicking up a stink of this, then he can go do one. Yossa is not good enough to be demanding anything from Rafa.

He's played 53 minutes for the club.

He wasn't good enough in the first place. He can play 53 games for us but he stilll wont be good enough

                  Good, that's your opinion

I believe it would be unfeasable not to give him a "little" bit of time. Just as Babel will require.

                    I disagree

Think he is an excellent addition to the squad.

IMO he is not the solution....ie he should not play every game. However, he will be good for some games. If he cannot accept that then he should bugger off. We can replace him with any number of players who are just as capable.

He is not crap by any stretch of the imagination, but by the same token he is not a world beater

                          -V-'s patience runs low.

I think it's interesting how many pundits seemed to pick the Benayoun signing as important. That doesn't mean they're right and -V- is wrong of course but it does suggest that he may offer something professional footballers appreciate that maybe some of the rest of us are less likely to notice.
                          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

We really need to get that ROFL smiley from KT over here for posts just like this one.

As for Benayoun, I'd have thought he was bought for his Premiership experience and the fact that he's used to the league here. Yet surprisingly he hasn't played any part in our two league fixtures. I'm sure he'll be back for Sudnerland

In fairness it's his omission from the whole squad that's worrying him. I have to say I'm a little surprised too but we know he will be used mainly against the poorer opposition that tend to pack their defenses.

But once again this brings about the debate about having 7 subs or not. I dare say he'd have been in the prem squads for Villa and Chelsea just in case, if we were allowed 7 subs and if he had been then he would be feeling fine, even if he didn't get on.

I just don't think he is talented enough to be considered a forward step.

His final ball is poor 8 times out of 10

His passing is not up to scratch, his crossing is certainly not good enough.

Guess i just dont rate him
