    Complete utter bull****....

Using their definition then Stevie & Crouch would be out for being mates with Fat Fwank..................

It seems the southern press attempts to de-stabilise our season are starting early.....

we know from bascombe that the relationship has been strained for a few months
we know that there has been interest from other clubs- allegedly including the chavs
we know that rafa detests jose
we also know that rafa was disgusted with both the chavs and the ref after the game- can you imagine anyone connected with liverpool laughing with any chav member of staff straight after that game?

it's probably not the main reason for pako leaving, but as the article says, the final straw.

the article also says that pako refused to be in the team photo this year- anyone got one?
Reading the SUnday Mirror, they said it was the fact that he secretly went to a job interview at Atletico Bilboa for director of football role together with his refusal to be in the team photo that brought his loyalty into question

that sounds much more likely to be fair

Did anyone hear Thommo on Soccer Saturday? When they were speaking about the situation he commented that the really interesting part is where he is going to end up.

If he`s gone we`ll move on.Rafa is staying and we`re top of the league.Paco leaving is a very small bump in the road. We`re Liverpool FC.

Some info on this from a reliable source. (some of you will know who i'm referring to but please keep the cat in the bag as this is sensitive info, so do not guess or post names in reference to the source of this or I won't post info again, not that I get much anyway these days!).

Pako wasn't the most popular with the players. Rather than looking at a complete player and how they performed on the field, he was obssessed with stats. Stats was everything. His opinions on who played, who signed, who was sold etc was always based on stats and not what he saw before him. Also, Pako had a lot of weight with Rafa and could basically sway most of, if not all, Rafas decisions apparently. This was testiment to Rafas trust in him. If a player was well in with Pako, for many different reasons, there was a good chance they would play.

Chief scout Eduardo Marcia (sp?) is apparently the first person who has been able to have as much sway with Rafa as Pako. Pako did not like this and did not agree on some of the signings made on the basis of recommendations from the cheif scout fella. As well as all the other stuff we already know this led to Pako spitting his dummy out.

If were looking for positives, one is that several players may not be too sad to see the back of Pako. Also, where was JAR yesterday?

And running up and down the touchline in the second half. He was clearly enjoying the match because he kept clapping on the side!

Rafa asked him to sing a Sinatra song and he refused, next you know he`s on the bench. You`d have thought he`d learn from the Liverpool Football(Golf)Club bonding session last yr.
