I'm not overly bothered about Pako deciding to leave ( being moved on ), it does concern me that he may end up with the Chavs or Scum. The amount of inside info he could pass on would make beating them much more difficult in head-to-head matches.
Ayesteran forced from Liverpool over Mourinho friendship
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez fell out with assistant Pako Ayesteran because he was becoming too cosy with Jose Mourinho, it has been revealed.
The News of the World says the simmering row between the Liverpool management team boiled over after the Premier League clash with Chelsea at Anfield two weeks ago.
And it came to a head when Ayesteran walked out on Thursday.
Boss Benitez was furious when he saw Ayesteran hugging Mourinho and joking after the Londoners had pinched a point through Frank Lampard's controversial penalty.
An Anfield insider said: "That was about the last straw for Rafa.
"Everyone knows Mourinho is not his favourite person and when he saw Pako showing such affection towards him he saw that as blatant disloyalty.
"There has always been friction between Benitez and Mourinho and Rafa did not take too kindly to one of his staff joking with the opposition manager especially as he felt Liverpool had been robbed of victory."
He was dam right, now need to be that cosey
Rafa is ruthless and on a mission, and if you work for yanks YOU WORK!!!
He's under a good pressure to deliever
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........
All I can say is (and I shouldn't even be saying this) is him and Pako got on well.....allegedley.
So without jumping to conclusions what you're saying is that Riise is a giver and Pako is a taker, or is it the other way round? Either way they like a bit of the pork?

Rafael BenÍtez, the Liverpool manager, has no plans to replace Pako Ayesteran after his assistant’s surprise decision to leave the club last week. Having appointed Paco de Miguel as a fitness coach and Ángel Vales as head of technical analysis at Anfield this summer, BenÍtez believes that he has the staff to compensate for the loss.
The news will only reaffirm Ayesteran’s belief that he was undermined by BenÍtez after arguing that the arrival of De Miguel and Vales encroached on his duties, which involved the technical and fitness aspects of training.
Liverpool did not appear to miss Ayesteran when hammering Derby County 6-0 at Anfield on Saturday, although the departure of such an influential figure is only likely to be felt in the longer term. The players were informed of Ayesteran’s decision on Thursday after training.
Relations between BenÍtez and Ayesteran had been strained for several months. BenÍtez is renowned for keeping his players at arm’s length and believes that his management staff should do the same, but the manager is understood to have felt that Ayesteran had become too close to many members of the senior squad.
BenÍtez also demands extreme loyalty from his staff and is believed to have felt betrayed that Ayesteran was identified for the role of director of football at Athletic Bilbao and that he had a cordial relationship with José Mourinho, his arch rival at Chelsea.
I would imagine that Riise was dropped because he was crap against Toulouse.
He gave the ball away far too much on Tuesday and really should have done much better against such a poor team. Just a boot up the arse. He'll be back in the team soon
