The perfect strike partner for Torres....

... well, who could it be?

No doubt we have one of the best in Torres, but who could we sign to complement him and add even more threat up front? Or do we already have the perfect foil at the club?

I really think Robbie Keane would be ideal - he would link up with Torres and also chip in with his fair share of goals.

What do you think, time to raid The Lane to inflict some pain and reclaim our Title??

Robbie Keane is class - better footballer IMO than Kuyt, Voronin and Crouch.

You'll find it difficult when you compare our players unfavourably with other Prem League players...the rose tinted glasses brigade will get annoyed.

Lets be realistic though, this is the market we should start to buy more players from if we want to win the league, and Keane is better than what we have, bar Torres.

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

On a serious note, I think one of the scum players would be a perfect partner upfront for him, in Rooney or Teves.

Some target man like Luca Toni, but preferably someone who could also play Torres through....like Totti?

I have no clue this morning.

                      More coffee...

You see, I don't really think Berbatov is that great.

In an ideal world I'd go with Kaka. I can see the argument for Rooney, Tevez or van Persie as well (although the latter might mean the whole team drifted to the left a bit too much).

I'm not sure about Keane. He looks like he is going to step up to be really top class at times but while generally quite consistent I think he is over hyped most of the time. At present though I would say he would fit our pattern of play much better than Crouch has of late.
