When Agger returns we will get back into our stride imo
Agger is key, Sami was a great defender but unfortunately he's now rubbish and is now negatively affecting our entire system of play.

Kuyt played useless he's not a winger and he's not a striker, just put him in centre mid he's to be more suited there.

Crouch deserves a run of games now and for gods sake but on Babel as well for a few games, cant wait for the Jan window

The day a player like him is deemed good enough is the day we become another Everton/Aston Villa.

You want Heskey back do you?

I'm a realist. What were you watching? Yes we created some chances, but we should at home, and we have some quality to do that. But the difference between their passing and movement and ours is like night an day.

Rafa needs another clearout for me. So many just aren't good enough.

Short term give Crouch and Babel a run. Kuyt and Voronin have had their chance, they haven't done it.

Niall, your fascination of slagging off Kuyt is laughable, he was played out of position and tried his best to do the job. Go lay down mate or go see ANGER MANAGEMENT cos yer getting out of control

I though YOUR post about him playing well was a windup! are you for real? terrible performance - I'm not saying that's his fault as he's been out a while but don't let your rose tinted specs make a fool of you.

Kuyt was a great player for us last season and played his role perfectly today.

Voronin scored some good goals at the start and is just having a bad patch ala Stevie who is getting back to his best.

Do people do a raffle before the match and choose who they're going to moan about?

He did ok, he was noticed, dont let your bias towards hating Alonso fool you

I think the biggest mistake Rafa made today was not having Sissoko or Lucas on the bench. Alonso was just coming back after an injury and we never had any cover for him on the bench. Arbeloa looked uncomfortable in his role when he came on and struggled. Sissoko or Lucas might have tracked Fabregas better for the goal.

I must stress how unlucky we have been so far with injuries and its hurting us badly. Arsenal have barely had an injury all season, and it makes a huge huge difference.

He played for the team and kept the ball very well. It has to be said that he's not been played in his position. He's a player Rafa likes because he's tactically excellent.

If we'd played Babel from the start (and prob Benayoun), Arsenal would have been more dangerous from the flanks. They had to try to play from the middle which is more difficult.

The game was very even today. On chances alone it was. I think a draw was a fair result. We're still unbeaten and Arsenal still have to play manure next week, and if they get a draw and if we win our match, we will be closer.

If anyone had offered me 4 points out of the possible last 6 I would have bitten their hand off.

We have been hit by a series of injuries, Carra, SG, Agger, Xabi, Arbeloa, Torres,Aurelio ( Kewell ) and yet we are still within touching distance of the top 2.

Are we playing good football ? NO
Are we grinding out results ? YES
Is this the best start we have ever had under Rafa ? YES

I personally don't think we will be good enough to win no19 this year, but I do think we will be very close to the top.

                          WE ARE LIVERPOOL

Kuyt is a striker but his technique is letting him down at the moment. I agree that Babel should be given a run in the side, I can't understand why he was benched today though it would have been a perfect game for him.

Likewise I never ever hear you criticise Kuyt even when he's deserving of it, yet you'll jump at the chance to criticise Sissoko or Riise.
