When we have a fully fit squad and change a few things in January, we will definately be challenging effectively for that top spot.

Today showed that the players have what it takes.

I think people are looking for something unrealistic here.

No team could cope without Agger, Alonso & Torres which we have been doing for a few weeks now coinciding with our dip - before that we managed without Carra & Stevie. The first three are the spine for pass & move football. Alonso and Agger find space and time.

I thought today there was potential for a great team - substitute Arbeloa or Aurelio for Riise who has never had the distribution; Agger for Hyppia and I'd say Babbel for Voronin and Yossi for Kuyt.

Our biggest problem at the moment is keeping the ball and passing it along the floor. Too often were just punting it forward and giving it straight back to the opposition.

Carragher is a legend. Stevie is finding his form again and Mascherano was just sublime.

Voronin however is ****ing howling. What an awful player, he cant even control the ball. It makes no sense to play him.

Kuyt is different though, he isnt great but he works his socks off. He is a support striker, not a centre forward. He was asked to play right mid today and defensively he did a good job

He doesn't need to play there, why sign Benayoun and Babel?

Kut is no second striker either, a good second striker is someone with the genius of Tevez and Rooney. Kuyt works hard, provides few goals and few assists, basically a typical Rafa player.
              We come not to play.

Kuyt was useless, how can Rafa not see this

                Masher was excellent

Crouch did well enough when he can on should of scored, but he added something to the match

Babel should of been put on

                Risse is getting worse

Xabi played well on his return

We looked very limited up front and creating chances
Switch off when not in use.

Neither can Kuyt. Put simply, we lose possession every time the ball ends up at Kuyt's cumbersome feet. He was dire, but in his defence he was playing out of position.

Voronin was equally poor. Riise was worse.

They're clearly our weak links IMO and I'd sell them all tomorrow.

Our home record is frustratingly poor and our league position looks distressing. In reality things aren't bad - we remain unbeaten while playing, for the most part, abysmally.

Things will start looking up when Agger returns and Torres gets fit. Oh, and things would also start looking up if Peter Crouch was given some ****ing game time instead of those two headless chickens.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

For the first time, I'd say Crouch looked a threat against any side this season.

I agree with all the above, why doesn't Rafa dip into the reserves for some talent? I'm sure Insua would be quite good at left back

No way would i sell Kuyt. As i said above, he got asked to do a job today and he defended well. Remember the Porto game? They had the possesion, they attacked us, Kuyt worked his socks off and stopped them on numerous occasions.

He is a good squad player and he can create chances. Best penalty taker we have had in ages. IF we played the ball along the floor and kept possesion then his job wouldnt be made harder.

We will improve. Our flaws are obvious and i think over the next few weeks we will see the boys work on keeping the ball and playing it about

Kuyt put in another good shift today but looked hopeless going forward against the pace of Clichy when we tried to break. His touch also let him down a number of times.

Most of the posts above wished we draw/lose this game so they have something to moan about.

we just played the most inform team while in a slump ourselves and matched them.We were 1-0 up after 80 minutes and suffered injuries to our best players during the game.

                            Wise up!!!!!!

Kuyt is perfect in Rafa's destruction football philosophy, work hard and break up play, work with the bits and pieces.
                              We come not to play.

The way Arsenal outplayed us then i'm happy we got a point BUT **** me we were poor again.............Crouch looked good and linked up with gerrard well..............PLAYING 2 SLOW STRIKERS ON THE WING IS NOT THE BEST ATTACKING OPTION
