He's slipped to 4th choice IMO and it should stay that way while we're playing well and winning.
Must say that I agree with those sentiments.

On current form Kuyt is last in line of our strikers.
A humble guy with healthy desire.

Think that was all Jol related. He rates Kuyt.

Can't see them wanting him now Ramos is there.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Was reading something today, apparantly Kuyt and Berbatov have played the same amount of league games and scored the same amount of goals, maybe some food for thought for those people who still spunk over Berbatov and moan about Kuyt

That is exactly right, 14 goals in 44 (now 45 for Berbatov) league games.

Berbatov scored a lot in the UEFA Cup, which means nothing to me.

I've been saying this for ages. Argued with nic about it too. Berbatov is good, but not top class, not when it comes to goals anyway.

Doesnt make Kuyt 'good enough' though.

I agree with that, I've been saying Berbatov was overated since last season, and I usually have a good inkling for this type of thing when it comes to strikers. For me neither are good enough, but I have to laugh when I see ppl saying Kuyt isn't good enough and then listing Berbatov as a replacement

Berbatov's a far better technically gifted player than Kuyt is. Better touch, better movement. Workrate aside, better everything.

Whether he'd scored more playing for a side like us, i'm not sure. He probably would. But he'd certainly be a good 2nd striker and the prospect of Torres and Berbatov together would be extremely interesting.

Berbatov is a superb player. Let's hope for all of our sakes that Demento doesn't sign him in January/summer.

You do get the feeling that if he can be arsed, he's a class act. Not sure how prolific he could be though.

I think he'd score goals wherever he plays but I think you'd see his real value in a partnership with a player like Torres. Can you imagine how many goals/assists they'd have between them?

Well yeah, two class players, as Rooney and Tevez have shown, will generally get it right, if they're managed properly.
