He's slipped to 4th choice IMO and it should stay that way while we're playing well and winning.

I agree. He is without a doubt the 4th choice striker.

They were important mate and it takes some balls to take a peno in such a big match but not including that match and them goals he's got 3 in 14 appearances.
I'm not happy to be saying anything bad about Kuyt but you really do have to question whether a striker can make the grade at our club with the goals to game ratio he has.

Crouchy was 0 for 18 wasn't he? And he was not vilified half as much. And Kuyt is playing off the front man. I'll not deny he needs to improve but I believe he deserves a little more patience. I'm sure he'll get it from Rafa. I wish the fans would back the manager's judgement. He's got shut before when a player has not worked out.

we've not missed either kuyt or momo's workrate whilst they've been away. for me it says it all - there is more to football than just running about hustling and bustling.

there is a time and place for the attributes that these players bring, barca in the champions league for instance. but we need more than just workrate.

sorry mate but he's much better in the stands than on the pitch. I think we'd be nuts to sell Crouchy & keep him. He (along with Riise) need to be taken as far way from the team as possible. Weren't Spurs in for Kuyt when we signed him? Maybe a cash+player swap for Berbatov.
