Ok doesnt win you titles. He was 'ok' by his own very poor standards.

But that was a sitter, a striker has to score those and he didnt. It cost us 2 points.

      Torres missed two sitters today.

Yeah, Torres is world class, Kuyt is average, but thought I'd mention it...

I'd swap Heskey for Kuyt today.

        Honestly.

Would you shut the **** up with that broken record already. We created clear cut chances and Citeh put in some great defending. Not having Ronaldinho, Messi, Kaka and Eto'o had nothing to do with it FFS !!!!

I think we would have won today with one of Ronaldinho, Messi, Kaka or Eto'o, you clearly think that Kuyt is better than anyone of them because he is the one that would be benched if one of them played.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

He hasn't said anywhere that Kuyt is better than them.

Well I would sell Kuyt and sign Messi for example. Would be a good signing.

Of course Dunne and Richards were superb, but they could do nothing when Kuyt had that header and a good striker would've buried it. Not even a great striker, or a world class one - just a 'good' one.

Kuyt is average at best, and i'm being generous there.

                  Oh dear.

What an incredibly limited footballer Dirk Kuyt is, so much huff and puff and almost always nothing else whatsoever.

I genuinely feel sorry for him, he wouldn't look out of place in the Championship.

Do you really consider that to be a valid point that needs to be addressed?

Every striker misses sitters. Thankfully, if a finger is pointed at Torres, he can point to his 15 goals this season with one hand and stick up the middle finger of his other hand.

Kuyt, on the other hand, misses chances about as regularly as Nando scores a goal...

If you read his post then he says that it wouldn't have mattered if our second striker had been Messi, Ronaldinho, Kaka or Eto'o instead of Kuyt.

I didn't say anything negative about Torres so the only one he could have meant was Kuyt being better than the other ones he mentioned.
Mate, i think you're reading way to far into it.

He had a better record in the Dutch Lg than Horse Face and is 1st on the team sheet for the Dutch national side ...

definitely time for him to go I think, he's starting to irritate me badly and it's not fair on him, it's not his fault that he's not good enough, it's just the facts, however he wasn't the sole reason we failed to win today

Trying to resist jumping on the bandwaggon but he looked almost Erik Meijer-esque today. No end product in terms of passing, crossing, shooting or heading but lots of endeavor. Sorry Dirk

I don't believe that for one minute.

Rafa's no muppet, he sees Kuyt's not good enough.

Problem is finding somebody in January.

what's dutch experiences got to do with anything, he's not good enough we al know it, like I said it's not his fault it's just the way it is

he's one of those players you get mixed opinions on depending on who you speak to, and when it's like that you know he's not good enough for LFC
