To be fair to the player, I think his game has been run out of him at LFC.

I didn't se him play prior to joining us but some reasonable judges on the other forum seemed to think he had chances of making it here. Either he has been instructed to chase down every defender in his vacinity or he's doing it of his own desire to perform for the team.

Either way with all that work, once he gets the ball he has neither the energy nor concentration levels to use it productively.

As an Oirish supporter during the 80's/90's you recognise the failings of a long-distance striker...

He appears to have lost all confidence in himself. I have to be honest and say I was screaming till I was blue in the face watching him today. A £9m striker in his prime should make mince meat of Luton.

The whole team (barring maybe Carra and Itandje) were poor and that's putting it mildly, yet Kuyt stood out as the worst. Says it all. No pace, No control, Nothing.

He works hard, and runs all over the pitch. But so would I and anyone else on this site given the chance to play for LFC. Working hard alone isn't good enough, it's the bare minimum required.

That's actually the main problem. He isn't good enough or fast enough to get in the correct positions to score. If he was missing a bucket load, you always know that the luck can change in a flash. When he is not even getting in positions to score, that's the time to panic.

On it can't all be blamed on service. Torres is scoring goals. He ever doesn't suit are system or isn't good enough. Either way we need to get rid.
