Thanjk you.

I was a fan of Kuyt last year because I thought he had plently of bottle and looked like he would sweat blood for the team. He was a workhorse, created and scored goals while not prolific he was a team player and undroppable at one point. This year he is a different player. Whether it's a confidence thing or last year he just over achieved is anyones guess. I know he lost his dad this year which seems to have effected his mental state on the pitch. Either way Rafa playing him for 90 minutes when his form is this poor is detremental to the success of the team. Kuyt needs to be dropped or sold, one or the other. If he plays against Boro after that display then I will lose futher faith in Rafa!
Did anyone else see Hyppia's reaction when Kuyt made a pigs ear of that chance n the 1st half?? That said it all to me.
Rafa can lose the dressing room if he don't sort some things out.
If he keeps playing players that is in **** form week in week out instead of players that showed that they deserve to play and subs players that played good and keep players that played **** on the pitch then he will lose the dressing room.
Rafa is gone if the don't sort this out.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
Funny when Kuyt signed him and Gerrard used to link up well. oh that must have been a dream.
Babel was outstanding today wasn't he AF.
No, but I can understand that he isn't motivated. He has played some excellent games and still Rafa plays Kuyt instead of him in game after game.
It will come to a point when he start to ask himself, why bother, I will be dropped anyway.

I feel a bit sorry for the lad. He's clearly out of his depth and not going to make it at our club - only a matter of time before he is shipped out. But we definitely need 3 new strikers. 2 right now.
i wish i could believe that. but rafa continually shows faith in him. he always starts and is rarely substituted. i'm starting to think dirk has a photo of rafa hogtied with a cucumber up his arse. its the only logical explanation i can think of.
Behave. He's still our player and whether he is up to the task or not (I agree that he isn't btw) there is absolutely no cause to call him a fraudster and con man, especially considering the tireless effort he puts in.
Agreed. One thing he doesn't do is cheat us with lack of effort. The poor lad's just ****.

He's got no confidence at all, I still think he's a good player but mentally he's just not in the right state.
I still believe that as the season progresses he will get better and turn his form around, I know a lot of people have lost faith in him but he will improve. The death of his old man has obviously taken it's toll on him, I believe he was really close to his father and that is bound to **** him up.
If I were Rafa I'd get Kuyt on his own and have a private chat with, get him to build his confidence up and we'll start to see him playing well like he did last year. Rafa obviously has a lot of trust in him because he very rarely drops him.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
Rafa's usually pretty good at shipping out those who don't perform. The difference this time is we can't afford to wait till the end of the season. We need changes now.
Are there any sports psychologists on here? Seriously. I'd love to know from someone in the know how someone's personal life can affect their form - how and why. It may be that we're all being unfair on Dirk what with his dad and everything - maybe he's taking the weight of his personal circumstances out there onto the pitch with him......how it affects his play I don't know hence why I posed the original question. Because without a doubt he is a shadow of the player he was last year and perhaps this could be a reason. Last year I think the majority thought he had a promising first season and expected him to go on to do better things as he adjusted more to the Prem yet he hasn't he has gone backwards.
