Personally, I believe we are in the healthiest position we have been in since our decline the early 90s. We have investment and are due to move into a stadium, which will be the envy of the world. Our academy and reserve teams are looking more likely to produce players that may actually break into the first team, instead of the reserves habouring overpaid, first team duds.

We are still unbeaten in the league, too many draws, yes, but it is a lot easier to turn draws into victories as opposed to defeats. Historically with Rafa, his teams perform better in the latter stages of the league and while we are still in touching distance, there is still every chance. Other teams will have dips in form; will Chelsea be the same without Drogba and Essien? How will Arsenal cope without Adebayor, Eboue, Toure and Sagna?

Even with our problems, we are still an extremely tough team to beat. The goals we have conceded have been penalties, OGs or unstoppable screamers. At this stage last season we had lost five games, so to say progress has not been made is ludicrous.

I just hope some of our fans read this and take it on board Liverpool FC is a lifetime commitment your either in for the long hall or dont bother your ******. The future is bright, the future is RED.

Spurious comparison ... you just wanted to boast about how often you are getting it!
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

So closing your eyes of the problems in the team means you are knowledgeable supporter?

Some fans are also deluded and their support blinds them to the obvious. The obvious being: we are a team lacking in the attacking areas and will never challenge for the title with the likes of Voronin and kuyt. Room for one maybe as 4th choice but to have the 2 of them in the starting 11 is poposterous. Rafa started both together a few times even when Torres was fit and firing. Cost us 4 points.

And throwing your rattle because the media encourages you to do so makes you more grown-up? Admitting things aren't currently perfect, but refusing to be swept away by those who cannot see beyond the current moment is surely what we should be aiming at.

maybe so obvious that a manager who had a very succesful la liga team and one who brought a CL to a once great team .....might just see it as well. Maybe just maybe there is a method behind his madness and maybe just maybe you should give him time before jumping down his neck at every decision

I like Rafa very much but he is making a few basic errors that even a novice wouldn't make.

every decision? One of the only things I don't like is him persisting with the 2 donks up top
