I've got a good idea, lets start another thread about whether Rafa should be our manager or not. I mean, its not like it hasn't been done before.......:whatever:

      1. Persisting with Kuyt.

      2. Persisting with Voronin.

      3. Ignoring Crouch who would create more than the other 2 combined.

      4. Paying too much attention to the opposition rather than concertrating on our own strengths. EG: Trying to Nullify B'Burn with defensive players instead of going out to do them. We saw evidence when we eventually brought on Kewell and Crouch that this would have been the way to go from the start.

      5. underestimating opposition when we play home hence benching our best players.

i don't lads, why is it that every other thread results in a either a) who's deluded who's knowledgable or b) sack rafa / in rafa we trust.
there's so much more in between and generally threads start with some good posts and points but end up in a proper school boy slagging match.

Rafa's made mistakes, hands up all those who don't make mistakes in their jobs/life. Hands up all those who when they do make mistakes have the media scrutinising every move? It's very easy to dissect a match and point out were it all went wrong after the match has been played, so easy that everyone on here can do it.

I have yet to see anyone make a reasonable suggestion about who would replace Rafa and until someone comes up with that reasonable suggestion, I'll stick with the manager we've got thanks.

Oh and he's had 3 years now to take Gerrard off corners but still hasn't realised that gerrard is in fact the one of the worst corner takers in the premiership.

it just baffles me that a guy who pays so much attention to detail( this is a massive strength of his btw)can't see the glaringly obvious.

No no no, noooo sacking. What's wrong is easily fixable and that is the thing.

So what you are basically saying is that because Rafa does not agree with you or see thing differently, he is..........what?

No that's not what I'm saying. Congrats on managing to turn my post into that though.

No, he was/is wrong to persist
and IMO, it was a mistake to even bring Voronin in.

He was is and always will be AVERAGE(Voronin that is, not Rafa)
