Atletico can't do anything if a club meet the £22m buy-out clause. It will be up to Aguero if he want to leave as long as the buy-out clause is that low.

A buy-out clause is only activated if you meet the amount in the clause, In Aguero's case, £22m. Then the club can't turn down the offer.

You can of course try to negotiate how you should pay the transfer fee but then Atletico wouldn't be forced to sell.

Anyone for Crespo? One of the best all round finishers I've seen. Left foot, right foot, head, outside box, inside box, I always loved Crespo and hated when he played against us. Son't think he had the belly for the prem though.

He wasn't that bad in the prem, i think it was more the fact that he had nobody to talk too here. He said he was used to being in a family environment etc. At Chelsea he said it was train, eat and go home. He hated it. I think here he would of settled better with the Spanish lads

With Kanoute going to White Heart Lane for approx 11mil in the summer, Berbatov will be let go. He will possibly be heading out the door at xmas but if not, in the summer. The price tag will be in or around 17 mil.

With Crouch unfortunately about to depart for City for 12 mil, we will have the funds to grab berbatov from spurs. If Rafa wants him, it will be a straight race between us and Unired.

Torres and Berbatov

Where's the facts in all that ? That's pure speculation. I don't think Rafa will part with Crouch. He's starting to show his worth, so I very much doubt he'll find himself down the pecking order that much now.

Rafa also seems to play Torres as our furthest striker, so I don't think he thinks he can play in a withdrawn role (Kuyt / Voronin role).

The competition is clearly between Torres & Crouch and Voronin & Kuyt. So if Crouch plays, in Rafa's system he will play with either Kuyt or Voronin.
