He has a very cultured left foot but if he can't make the Pompey side, I don't think he could make the Liverpool side

Torres is the most important player in our squad. More so that Stevie.

A lot of people will probably go mad at this, but if it's wrong it's not far wrong. Goals are the game's most vital currency and he scores goals and is our greatest attacking threat. What a fantastic player he's going to be for us.

He's got a seriously exciting future.

He wasn't a revelation last season. He just gets noticed once in a while when he scores a cracker. Pamarot and Traore have had their fair share of left back. Harry Redknapp seems to be a manager who believes in form and confidence and at this time, it looks like Pamarot is having a few good games

Matt Taylor's crap. I'd be appalled if we signed him.

Inconsistent. Would be good if we were a mid table side. Pompey are going for Europe this season

                    Does he?

I thought he scored 20 odd last season

Kuyt scored 14 or something close

I can't believe he's even being mentioned in a thread about Torres. I couldn't think of more of an outrageous juxtaposition.

He's ours and that's all that matters. Couldn't give a feck whether he's better or worse than others

He doesn't just bring goals though, he's more than just a poacher, he's got pace, skills, strength, determination and vision.

                          This boy has everything.

At least when Crouch came was near the top of the scoring charts at Southampton and won an England cap. I could be wrong but Jones wouldn't be an improvement on Crouch

Kuyt being sold would be making sense. He lacks a goal threat. I would be happy if I was a defender to play against him. He runs everywhere besides in the box. He can have a work load of a horse but he is a striker and they are judged by goals not sweat on a shirt
The dutch heskey! A heskey by any other name is still a donkey.

That's my point, he's a hybrid of a target man, a finisher and a link up striker. He excels in every single aspect of a forward.

To be fair, Heskey scored 20 goals from all positions in his first season and then he went downhill from there. Heskey looks more of a threat watching him for England.
