And like I have said from what I have seen he has very good first touch and technique. Now if you ad that to his pace, power and acceleration, and the fact that he is playing very well as a target striker for a rather poor team that relies on him very much on him to hold the ball up, I would not be at all surprised if he could turn out to be a better player then Crouch.

well i cant say i've seen enough to judge, but he does look like a good prospect in the drogba mould, and to be fair, anyone who thinks Drogba wouldn't be an asset is living in cuckooland.

I said I'd seen "90 minutes today for a start...". I've seen three full 90s for Sunderland this season, and saw some of him when on-loan at Sheff Wednesday a year or so ago.

Not much, granted, but nothing I've seen so far suggests he's better than Crouch or anything like as good as Drogba.

This season he's looked a good player, no doubt, but he's got loooooooooooads more to do IMO before he's mentioned as a possible Liverpool striker.

Fair enough. As i said i can't really comment as i haven't seen enough, although when the highlights are on he looks a class act compared to most in the Prem.

Mind you, who the hell would've picked Crouchie out as a possible Liverpool striker when he was at Southampton.

I'm struggling to see a better total package than him, maybe Eto'o has the experience edge and is similar in his abilities, but his injuries has put him back somewhat.
