he might have more skill than people give him credit for but IMHO i reckon crouch has more skill, better touch, and better linking play with his teammates.

So to the question I have been trying to get answered all evening. Have you seen enough of him to make that call. I have not. I have only seen two games.

i have only seen him in a couple of games myself plus highlights on MOTD, FOOTBALL FIRST etc... but i'll prob watch out for him more now to see how good he really is.

I happen to think there are players out there better then Crouch, Kuyt and Voronin.

Plus I dont think these three are good enough to win the league.
We could win it with one or two of them, but IMO it will be hard to do it with all three. I think that is why we keep hearing that Crouch will be sold in Jan.

As for kenwyne jones, my thoughts are this -

The little ive seen of him he looks impressive if thats the sort of striker you want, as for comparing him with crouch, its a no-brainer.

Hand on heart, if roy keane was offered a straight swap with no cash involved between crouch and jones do you think he would take it? of course he ****in would so that ends that argument straight away.

I think jones from what ive seen could offer us a good possibiliteee but unfortunately I get the impression (hopefully imo) that its a absolutely bull**** rumour that has either eminated from some bellend agent (jones`s), some bellend reporter, or keane himself in the hope that were daft enough to swap him for crouch

i think we have the best group of strikers in the league. they might not be the best players in the world but collectively crouch, kyut, voronin and torres have more than enough talent to win us the league. each brings something different that no other club can say they have.

I do realize that you are probably right. What I am trying to get going here is a conversation about Jones with someone who has an informed opinion on him.

Sorry mate but that is IMHO bollox. Crouch, Kuyt and Voronin are strikers bought with limited funds and are all players the other top four would not poke with a stick.
