What do you mean MSI OWN Tevez and Mascher? I don't think that a person, club, etc. owns any person. MSI owns the player's registration. The fee would be to buy that registration from MSI, just like we would if we were dealing with another club. MSI has no more control over Tevez or Mascher then does a selling club. The selling club doesnt control the wages of the player at his new club and a selling club can't sign the player's contract for them (or refuse to). When they were at Corinthians, they were registered by MSI and loaned to the club. Then when they moved to WHUFC, the same thing happened. When us and the Mancs signed them, we both had troubles bc they were retaining the player's registation and loaning them out. The new deal with Mascher is a sale. It eliminates the third party registration problem. As for Tevez, the mancs only signed him to a 2 year loan deal. it basically the same and our agreement with mascher only it started in the summer rather than jan.

Thats my take on it anyway.

Utd signed Tevez on loan from west ham
      MSI still own both players

      How are they different?

When we signed Mascher, West Ham gave up his registration therefore we signed him on loan from MSI.

When Man U signed Tevez, West Ham still had his player registration but MSI had ownership of his financial rights. That meant that Man U, West Ham and MSI were all involved i.e.Man Ure - West Ham and MSI = 3 Parties.

That's why we weren't caught up in the whole Man U v West Ham Tevez saga. LFC did the deal with MSI alone which meant no 3rd party cos the Hammers had already given up his registration i.e. LFC and MSI = 2 Parties.

So if/when we buy Mascher, we'll be buying him from MSI and MSI alone.

I think by 3rd party involvement FIFA means anybody other than the player and the club. So MSI is the 3rd party in our case.
