I dropped them a line as well.

I don't think it's a bad idea for people to re-iterate their support for Rafa to the PR department.

No need for threats or any such, but a gentle reminder of where the fans stand on this would be a big help for Rafa I think.

Do you not think that this maybe one of those times, you have half the info (some or most of which could be rubbish and made up by bascombe etc) and you are now reacting without thinking about it.

Also why do you go missing when things are going well and only come out of the woodwork when stories like this appear?

It doesn't sound like ****e to me mate, there is definitely something really wrong behind the scenes at anfield if it has managed to spill into the press like this - lfc have always been a very private club & have always conducted their business as if they were mi6 or something so to see these developments is very disturbing.
The thing that worries me the most is after all of this is sorted out what happens the next time the manager or the owners throw their toys out of the pram?? will it be another battle conducted in the press like this one? i hope not for the sake of the players and the fans.

As for whos to blame - i think both parties are at fault tbh. I get the impression that Rafa may well be a little bit like a spoilt kid if he doesn't get his own way - i can picture him having little tantrums from time to time. Remeber the way he left Valencia? it seems to be the same issues with "his bosses" again.. I have to say that the new owners have also been a big fault in this saga - it looks to me like they can't be bothered with the club if they aren't physically in the uk - why can't they hold a video conference with rafa to discuss these matters instead of washing there knickers in public, they are also approaching this thing the american way (heavy handed) putting their BIG American foot down showing everyone who's boss ffs it's time for all parties to calm the hell down and to do everything possible to bring number 19 home.

"We had a meeting the day of the Arsenal game and the meeting was really positive.

"After that meeting, something changed. I tried to explain my ideas, but they said to me 'Rafa, keep focussing on coaching and training because Rick Parry will be in charge of buying and selling players'.

"I tried to explain to them and now, it is simple: they say, 'Keep focussed and Mr Parry will keep working in the transfer market'
                            ."

It's obvious to me (if this is a verbatim quote) that if 'something changed' it is not to Rafa's liking, and allied to the press conference and his appearance in a track suit, the 'my fans' slip etc he's letting us know.

I really hate doom mongers and the like, but if we're not careful I really do believe Rafa will walk - soon.

I think saying 'Rafa points and Parry fetches' is way too simplistic.

Summinks up - and the 'my fans' bit could be a hint that he needs our support.

I'm also on the outside of a bottle of wine and have hardly eaten all day so I could be talking utter ****e!
I don't care as long as we finish above the blue ****e

I refuse to sit back and let them do this, I will hand my Man United tickets back this week in protest. I simply do not want my club riddled in £500M debt by two guys who don't know the offside trap.

It is not about the letter, you don't have to like it.
Not having debt on the stadium would be like buying a house without a mortgage. Nice thought but totally unrealistic. The alternative is we stay in a cramped 45,000 seater stadium with no chance of expansion or competing in the future with the Mancs, Arsenal and Chelsea (who don't need the stadium revenue).

Look at Arsenal; they are "riddled in debt" through building the Emirates but because of that bold move - and the extra revenue - they are now bringing in more income than the so-called "richest club in the world", Man United. Mind you, the extra debt has really ****ed Arsenal up on the pitch, hasn't it...

Rashid, I've no doubt you mean well but your drama queen style histrionics do not represent the thoughts of the majority of Liverpool fans and, quite frankly, I find your 'letter to Parry' to be extremely embarrassing.
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

Did you even think before writing and sending off that tripe? I'm sure Parry will not lose any sleep over your letter. Least you could have been constructive and backed your allegations with substance instead of being down-right rude
