Hicks "wants to sell up"

Why does everyone hate Hicks all of a sudden? Do we always have to hate someone??

At the end of the day Rafa was wrong in publicly demanding money after the CL, and he got backed, I am sure he was told not to do it again. He did it again and got a dressing down. All of it far too public and not in keeping with the fine tradition of our club. Far too many people wanting a lynching on here. On the positive side we've had some good results of late!

I dont hate hicks, far from it, there are so many rumours flying around that its impossible to blame any one individual. Ill judge him on whatever actually happens.
I would just like clarification though, and if hes looking to sell then just say so, theres no shame in saying the credit crunch has ****ed with his finances, in fact the opposite, id respect him more if he said "look, im skint and cant take the club forward as promised, as such ill sell to a high bidder like dic".
Lets just sort it all out eh.

If he would come out and say that he have financial problems because of any loans then he would get paid less if he sells up.

It's better looking that you don't want to sell, then you will get paid more when you do sell up.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

          Hicks (Do we really know?)

We're showing alot of animosity towards a man who's invested a lot. We're accusing him of being behind the turmoil and effort to remove benitez. What proof do we have? Surely he too deserves the benefit of doubt?

              Benefit of the doubt? :whatever:

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt when he or one of his cohorts (parry, Gillett etc) comes out and says Rafa's job is not in jeopardy and not before then. Their silence on this issue is deafening and sue me for making an inference from it.

Will we start it again here?

Dang. Always wanted to use that smiley appropriately and you beat me to it.

You'll get yours in the World Cup qualifiers when we get a half decent
                    manager to replace Staunton

I'll hold your coat. Hicks is my kind of scapegoat.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

Also Parry & Hicks have been very quick to deny the whole thing. People tend to be much quicker to deny things that are true than they are when theres no substance to it.

Not having a go here Mr 09, but if you apply that logic to the Rafa situation it rather undermines a lot of your posts regarding his future, just a thought.

We can only look at his past record for the Dallas Stars and Texas Rangers.

Both of them can't challenge for the title anymore because Hicks isn't investing enough money in anyone of them.

The Rodriguez signing was good PR to please the fans.

The Texas Rangers never challenged, they've always been ****.

Your post makes sense, but as AF said his track record isn't great and there a lot of negative reports emanating about him from the US.

Overall I would lean towards Dhavlos point of view on this one.
