I've learned not to get my hopes up. That way I hope to be very pleasantly surprised if you know what I mean.
You can agree with me, or you can be wrong.

It doesnt matter whether we got battered or not, we only took 2 points.

On the contrary, plenty of joy from footie...it's that which raises the level of expectations, y'see...

We'll probably beat them because they won't sit back and defend for their lives and that'll suit us.
Also, 10 points adrift with a game in hand so a possible 7 5 and 1 on the Chavs I think, paint it negatively all the way mate but that's wide open and like I say they all have to play each other again so we are guaranteed they are going to drop points.

I think it's realistic to say that you probably wont be pleasently surprised. I can't see any coming in, unless it's a cheap defender like Arbeloa last year, and only maybe one out.

That one must surely be Momo? He's not even in the match squad these days and is behind Mascer, Xabi and Stevie and probably Lucas to.

We need to go on a run of 8 or nine wins in a row or close to it. Most Champions have runs like these on the way to the title.

I thought we played well but, once again, lacked a cutting edge, as a team we are hard working, fit as ****, organized but when our attackers cant score id say the pressure starts to build and affects play. What we need is a season where our attackers score regularly enough for the lads to think "right, we will defo score today so lets get it on" and then we will be back in business.

I genuinely believe we are closer to this than lots of people think, a good striker and c.b cover and we could be there, our wide men are certainly good enough at present, kewell, aurelio, riise, benyaoun, Babel. We just need someone to help Torres, take some of the pressure off him and then look out.

Todays game was good, we will get better.

                      But buy another great striker.

Oh and for the record, it's Arsenal who are top and they extended their lead over us.

I dunno about you, but it's the Premier League i want to win, not the 'We finished above Man U' league...
Thats an easy question. If we assume that we win our game in hand then we are 7 points behind? Well that means if we claw a point every 5 weeks then it will take 7 x 5 weeks to claw the points back, therefore 35 weeks! Unfortunately there is not 35 weeks left so we will not manage it. Unless of course we have a terrible terrible winter and the season has to be extended because of postponements...pesky undersoil heating!

I can't see us signing anyone of note really. Anyone who thinks otherwise is surely kidding themselves.

Still, AFII will no doubt overload the site with every bit of crap that ends up on tribalfootball. I can't wait already!!!!
I don't post that much from Tribal anymore, maybe one or two posts a day as most.

Quoting tribal isn't any different than to quote something from Newsnow or the BBC gossip page. All of them quotes the media.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

well its irrelevant as the question stated if we claw back a point every 5 weeks not games!!! but as you see from my solution, the reason we will not win the league is because of undersoil heating and not Dirk Kuyt!!!!
